As a photographer we see everything to do with weddings. Going to one, two and even sometimes three weddings in a week we see all kinds of ideas, traditions, decorations and on and on. I want to start choosing things I see at weddings that are different or the are just unique and share them with you all. Maybe it will inspire you or give you a creative idea of your own. This will be the first of many similar posts.
Guest books are ever changing and there are a variety of ways of doing them. But this was a first for us to see. I don't know if the quilt had any significance prior to the wedding, but it has plenty of meaning now. I love the creativity in having something tangible to sit out instead of a book that might just be stored away.

Nicki and Kyle were both on the cycling team in the Navel Academy. They incorporated this into their cake topper. This was a great way to make the wedding reception more personal!

The picture above and below are of
Chad Long who played some live music during the cocktail hour and dinner. He created a great atmosphere as he sung a Jason Mraz / Jack Johnson kind of music. He was really good!

Part of the family was from Hershey, PA so naturally they had to have Hershey bars.

Now this last picture isn't necessarily a great wedding idea though it was kinda funny. You see the people in the background laughing...the empty table went to the buffet line out of turn so this is how the table in the back repaid them while they were getting their food...it was all in good fun and it was funny watching their faces coming back to a table with upside down chairs!
